Creating unforgettable Fan Festivals and Activation experiences
The brief
As part of the festivities that was the FIFA Women’s World Cup, each host city and their local government bodies were tasked to bring to life a Fan Festival live sites and City activations that added to the buzz of the match day by ensuring the entirety of the fan journey was enhanced.
The solution
Following a competitive tender process and FIFA protocols for delivery, I led the successful creative responses and overall ideation for the fan experiences for the Adelaide, Perth and Wellington FIFA Fan Festivals and Sydney city and venue activations. The scope of work and delivery included:
Simultaneously deliver across 4 cities and 2 countries
Work collaboratively with FIFA commercial partners
Adhere to FIFA Fan Festival experience delivery guid
Develop one strategic framework for creative and production delivery
Develop bespoke programming based on each live Fan Festival, including music programming
Integrate a mix of digital and physical activations as part of the overall ideation
Adhere to FIFA brand protocols to ensure consistency across each Fan Festival
Overall Big Screen content and graphics production
